Media Source (IP Camera) not showing images

I am trying to use OBS studio software to stream to YouTube using a PTZ IP camera. OBS and the camera work together when connected using the USB cable, but when I try to link to it using RTSP and the IP address (rtsp://192.168.1.168/live_st1), I get no image on the screen in OBS Studio software. I am sure they are "seeing" each other, as when I load OBS, the camera becomes active, but I don't get an image. I have tried using a different IP camera and this works fine, so think there must be some kind of conflict between this particular camera and OBS studio.

I can see and control the camera using the IP address in Chrome. I have tried linking them on 2 different networks and have exactly the same problem both times.

Can you give me any ideas as to what / where the problem might be? I've tried changing various settings, but that only makes OBS freeze (Not Responding). The linked log file was from loading OBS, going into the Source settings, unticking the "Restart playback" box and then "ok". At this point OBS stopped responding.

I have sorted this problem now!
If anyone else finds this problem, try linking to your IP camera using the VLC video source option in video sources. Enter the rtsp://[USERNAME]:[PASSWORD]@[IP ADDRESS] in the playlist field, then OK.
This worked for me, so I hope this helps someone else and saves them spending hours trying to resolve the issue. It would be much easier if the Media Source issue was sorted.

Did you get sound from the cameras? I can link mine using VLC but I don't get sound.

Hi! I'll tell you what it has done to me since the last update:
I have an IP camera through RTSP, in studio mode it does not show a previous image of the camera, but when I put it live sometimes it activates and sometimes it does not appear.

What I can do?
