Bug Report massive lag/crash on newer version

I haven't tried streaming in a long time now but tried last night and wanted to update obs. I deleted the old version before I checked the version but it was before the site came out. Was probably in the first few released on TL. Updated to the newest version last night.

Whats happening now is when I start streaming I'll get 1-3 seconds of fine gameplay then my computer will just go nuts and everything starts freezing up for 5+ minutes until I get dc'd from twitch and obs tries to reconnect and I cancel it. All of my settings are the same as what I used on the last version.

perfect example of this happening: http://www.twitch.tv/paintball1/b/344106210
old version video: http://www.twitch.tv/paintball1/b/344099296

comp specs
MOBO: Asus
CPU: Amd 965 black edition quad core
GPU: XFX HD Radeon 6770
RAM : 4gb ddr2 g.skill
HDD: Seagate 70gb 7200 rpm
PSU: 750W Cooler Master

If I need to post my streaming settings I'd be happy to. Thanks for any help I can get.

What sources are you using? Is Aero disabled if you're using monitor capture? A log file would help too.

Tried and getting same results but a bit less severe than before. I was able to get ~10 seconds of good gameplay before system freeze and got dc'd from WoW+twitch/obs

Are you sure your CPU isn't overheating or similar performance problems? The very high frame times suggest your entire system is running really slow when this happens, it shouldn't be taking 160ms for a single frame.

You could also try using game capture to capture WoW to see if that helps.
