Question / Help Massive FPS Drops (solved)

Hello, my name is Mistzzz and i love to stream. I stopped streaming due to a bad processor. But i have a new processor now. I have tried to stream multiable games like League Of legends, CS:GO, Dayz. But about 5 min after i start streaming i start to get these massive fps spikes. They happen very often but not at a pace. I never had this kind of problem with my old cpu. i will list my spec below

OLD CPU - AMD FX 4100 GPU - GTX 660 TI.

NEW CPU - AMD FX 8350 BLACK EDITION 4.0 Ghz - GPU GTX 660 TI.

Some people told me my system is overloaded and my computer cant handle it. i dont see how that is if i have a new and better cpu. Its only when im stream too.

If you have a solution please help me out. Really want to get back to streaming! Thanks.

Yes, thank you. The log file looks actually totally fine, timings and settings are not too much for your system.
My first idea would be limiting csgo to a fixed framerate, using the "fps_max" option in its console or config file.
If you have a 60hertz monitor you could limit it to 60fps, or if that does not feel perfect, try 100 or 120. Keep an eye on your cpu usage and probably also gpu usage. (Tools like process explorer or GPU-Z can do this)

Thanks! i'll try it out. FYI i was talking in the live chat about this and people said that GPU-Z does not work. It might have just been my program but yea..Just FYI

So i tryed it out and im still having the problem. I set the max fps to 60 and when the lag spike hit, my cpu speed went to 1.36 then bumped up again to 3.92. Really weird and i wish this wouldent happen :(

Dude! i fixed the problem!

Go to Energy Settings in Control Panel, open your High Performance setting, click in Advanced, look for your CPU Min and Max usage and set it do 80% max usage, and 5% min usage.
This should stop your CPU from heating so much, and it won't down that much your FPS.

Run that torture test after and you should notice that your CPU wont overheat!
