Question / Help Manage a live with multiples cam alone

Hi,

I'm using OBS since a couple of weeks and it works fine, I like it.
Now, I would like to procude advanced live video effects by adding text or switch cameras on the fly by pressing shortcut keys.

For the moment, I'm using only one scene and all pictures and cameras on the source aera. I have to check or uncheck each layers or image or camera to display or hide them.

I found how to setup "scene switch hot key" but I would like to know if I'm using OSB in the right way :
- Cam 1 should be on scene 1 (hot key 1 for example)
- Cam 2 should be on scene 2 (hot key 2 for example)

Now, how I can add an image over the video if i'm switching from scene 1 to scene 2 ? The image is attached to a scene, so it disappear after the scene switch.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you want to bind hotkeys to toggle individual sources you'll need to use OBS Studio.

Yes Sapiens, I'm using OBS studio.
First of all, what is the purpose of "scene" exactly, could you give me examples?

Up please, gonna try make myself more clear.

I want to switch between 2 webcam during a live event with hotkeys. I also want to keep some images on top of my video when I switch cameras.
I can bind hotkeys to toggle individual sources on OBS by using "scenes", but I lost the image displayed on cam 1 when I switch to cam 2 for example.

What can I do please ?
