Question / Help Make OBS and game use same graphics card?

So I read that obs and the game I'm trying to record needs to be on the same graphics card, but I have no idea how to do that. I looked a little bit through the forums but I didn't really find anything. I'm using windows 10. And if it helps at all, I'm trying to record Half Life 2.
 
yea thanks. I read that already. But that still doesn't really tell me how to fix it. Or maybe it does I just don''t understand it. I need a step by step kinda deal. I'm not really all that much of a computer guy.
