Question / Help Make donations pop up on stream with messages

Helloooooo everyone!

I have a question for you guys!

On many streams you see when they get donations over etc. $5 It'll pop up on the stream.

How is this possible, I'd very much like the same thing :-)

Like PhantomLord stream has ? I ALWAYS HAD THAT QUESTION! It does a popup AND plays some sound like a lot of people scream "YEEEEY" :D

Usually these are done either by captured tools (check the tools forum) or plugins (check the plugins forum and work-in-progress sub-forum of the plugins forum).

Many will either use TNotifier (https://tnotifier.net/welcome) or SubAlert (http://twitch.tv/subalert) (which doesn't handle donations yet). Not sure what PL uses, but it's slick and allows an alpha fade-in... meaning most likely either a Flash file running as a webpage, or a custom plug-in. But as he uses XSplit, it's less useful for us on the OBS side of the community.
