Question / Help Major ping spikes while streaming CSGO

Here is my speed test, and I included a log file. While playing CSGO my ping hits about 50 ms, but while streaming it reaches up to 500-600. This sometimes happens (and I'm not sure why of this either) when I'm not even streaming, in games like SC2, League, etc. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my PC, internet, router, or what.

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

What dodgepong said plus this:
Code:
Interface: Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet (ethernet, 100 mbps)
is your cat5 cable going through an old hub or is it an old cable? anytime a Gb NIC only connects at 100Mb/s, I always assume there is a weak component (bad cable, use of an old hub between the router etc). anyway, Minimize network impact should fix you up, but there's something else to think about on the quality side of your stream...

1080p with only 1500k bitrate is really aweful in quality, especially with a first person shooter. If 1500 is all you can send then downscale to 616p @ 30fps. it will look better than 1080 at a lower bitrate, given the fonts wont be as sharp, but at least you wont pixellate...
