Mac M2, Elgato HD60X & OBS problems

I'm new to OBS trying to stream on a new Mac Mini M2 using an Elgato HD60X capture device. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it does not. This morning everything was fine streaming our church service. Then OBS lost the video capture and everything stopped. I'm at a loss for why. If anyone here has more experience please respond.

I do not know where to find the log file to include.

In this case, I found that manually setting frame rate caused this to no longer happen. YMMV; good luck.
