EDIT: Title should be "Faster preset"

Hi guys,

So im still baffled by the mystery about how my stream quality is worse than my friends, even though we have the same settings except for the preset. Mine is set to fast and his is very fast. I know its like 99% not likely, but could that have something to do with the quality?

Here is my stream:

Here is his stream:

Im so confused. I analyzed it with the VOD analyzer. Only difference is 1000kbps and the preset, which his is faster than mine.

WTF

The slower the preset the better quality you're gonna get at the expense of CPU usage.

Slower = Best quality, huge amount of CPU usage.
Ultra Fast = Worst quality with lots of blocks, very light CPU usage.

Your stream looks absolutely fine to me.

I know all of that, but look at the quality difference, not to mention, my friend uses a faster preset than I do, so i make no sense. Obviously something is going on here and im racking my brain to find out what.

People usually dont care about the super high quality specially if they have not the best internet (they may switch to medium/high and it will look OK but not great). And even the best streamer like TSM Bjergsen have not the best quality - still good enough to watch it, but far away from being great.
Ask other people about the quality, if they are happy - stick with and dont go crazy :-)

Sure there is a difference, but nothing special and nothing bad about it.
Test your limits, find a way to get nice quality without increasing the bandwith (so people can actually watch the stream) and keep it.
You dont need the extra great quality to entertain people, its just nice to have :-)
