Question / Help Low framerate while streaming with an i7

I have an Intel i7-4770k paired with a GTX 770, but I struggle to maintain over 60 frames per second while trying to stream and play CS:GO. I'm trying to stream at 720p with 60fps and I'm pretty sure this machine should be more than capable of doing so. I'm not sure why my machine seems to be under-performing and I would really appreciate any help.

According to the log, its running fine. Is it the game whose FPS is getting reduced, or the stream? What are you watching to judge the stream's FPS?

My frame rate takes a significant hit when I try to stream. It goes from around 140+ to 30 ~ 70 fps. I had a few friends monitor my stream and they said the stream still looks okay, but that I should be getting a lot higher frame rate in-game.

Are you streaming at 2000kbps because that is a limitation of your upload speed? If so, then you should reduce your frame rate to 30fps, and possibly even downscale to 540p (since CS:GO is a pretty high-motion game). That would fit your bit rate better, and ease the load on your CPU as well.

I have 100mpbs down and 10mbps up so I don't think it's my bitrate. I guess I could reduce frame rate or downscale even further, but it's frustrating since I know my computer should be able to stream with these settings.

It is set to "Above Normal". I've tried putting it to "High", but it didn't seem to help much.

Try setting it back to Normal and see if that helps.

It seemed to help at first, but then after about 5 minutes of playing my frame rate slowly deteriorated again.

Hmm...can you try right-clicking the preview and disable the preview window? Does that help at all?

It does help, but only by a few frames.
