Question / Help Low fps

Hey, when i don't stream, i usually get 300-400 fps and even goes up to more on CS:GO
But when i stream it drops down to 100, and the game just doesn't feel smooth so i have to stop streaming.
PC Specs :
i5-4670K
Gtx 660
4GB of RAM.

My OBS Settings are :
Resolution downscale 1.50 ( 1280x720 )
FPS : 30
Bilinear
Bitrate : 2500
Buffer Size : 2500
Quality Balance : 8
x264 CPU Preset : Very fast
CBR enabled.

How do i fix this?

If your monitor is only 60hz you won't be able to see a difference from 8000 fps from 60 fps. Even if you have like a 120hz monitor or higher games should be perfectly smooth at 100 fps anyway.

Lol, such a retarded comment. I can obviously notice the difference, otherwise i won't make a thread. 300-400 fps to 100 doesn't feel smooth, you obviously can't see it but the brain can sense it, something like that. 100 fps doesn't feel like 400-400 to me, it feels choppy and sens also gets fucked up for me. Anyways, i didn't ask for your opinion about what the human eye can see, i'm asking for help so i can fix this problem. Thank you.

Well, please keep it friendly. jav is certainly right that (especially on a 60hz monitor) there will be no visible difference.
On the other hand, you are also right. Badly coded games like CS depend quite a lot on the framerate they run at. So a lower framerate can feel different. As you mentioned, the sensitivity is strange and does not feel as responsive.
I experience the same in BF3&4. So I prefer to play on lower graphic settings but higher frame rate.
At the same time I use a 2 PC setup to get rid off any framedrops caused by the streaming. So my recommendation would be to either, lower your settings, limit your FPS in CS to a usable value to free up room, or upgrade your system/get a second streaming PC.

Streaming easily uses more CPU power than most games, we have to tweak and find our sweetspot for streaming. Its unfortunately not something I can give you exact values for that will work.

Yea, but i am on the lowest settings, and i know a few people that have a worse pc than mine and still they don't drop to 100fps while streaming, look at my pc config again, i think my pc is pretty decent.

Too much bumping will just increase the wait time. I wanted to respond two times already but had to remove your bumps. Do you do that in real life as well? ...

Uhmm, this topic was in like the 3rd page when i bumped it, kind of normal.

The log doesn't look that bad. Perhaps you should look into using something like Quicksync to do your encoding if you are extremely sensitive to drops in frame rate.

I'm not extremely sensitive to drops in frame rate, it's just that i know people that stream with a worse PC than mine and the game is smooth for them and they don't get a big fps drop like i do, almost 200 fps drops when i start streaming lol. That's weird.

use quicksync, or deal with dropped frames, thats how it works. Your only other option is to do a dual PC streaming setup.
