Question / Help low fps while streaming on a 4770k

i know to expect some fps hit but going from 100+ to 45 fps is bad . anyone know why this is happening?

Uhm. Do you really only have 1GB of RAM? If so, then that's your issue right there.

Not unusual. BF3 is a pretty resource-intensive game, and so is streaming. You could always try QuickSync.

It is especially taxing when you're running on a rig that only has 1GB of RAM. I'm still really confused because of that.

i only get around 75-80% CPU usage

EDIT: turns out i was using 64bit so it only uses 1gb

i just tried quicksync. same FPS drops

If you're using the 64 bit executable, that means the OBS application would have had access to more than 4GB. 8GB of RAM is a more realistic number, but OBS isn't reporting that. Does Windows recognize 8GB of RAM?

Right click my computer > properties and see how much ram you have, you could be running windows 32bit.
