Question / Help loud mic input quiets other sounds with fade. HELP pls

When I clap my hands in front of microphone so it goes near 100%, then music and all other sounds gets muted (or very quieted) and then those fade back in during couple seconds :/

I tryed same recording test in FRAPS and there that is not happening, I can be throwing grenades and music is still same loudness.

Can I fix it in OBS somehow? pls help.

sound ducking usually happens when a program like skype is running at the same time. to fix, disable the voice ducking feature in skype.
 
In Skype Options:
Click the "Audio Settings" tab, in the microphone section, uncheck the box for "Automatically adjust microphone settings".

In windows sound (Right-click the Speaker icon, and select "Playback Devices"):
Click the "Communcations" Tab, and in the menu, Click on "Do Nothing". This should clear up that issue.
 
thanks for replyes guys, but I already had that "do nothing" option set and skype uninstalled before I did the tests, OBS do that, Fraps do not...
