Hey all! I'm new to using OBS and recording gameplay in general, so I'm looking for some help. I've read some guides and some threads and have OBS configured to my liking in terms of recording quality; now I'm just looking for ways to reduce the file size. I read the guide on how to improve local recordings, and setting crf to 0 (lossless) creates huge file sizes, I've found using any value greater than 0 looks like garbage (even 1). Are there other settings I can mess with to improve this? Thanks for any help!
My recording settings are set at 720p/30fps, and even then, a half hour video came out to over 16gbs, which is monstrous, to say the least.
Quick stats on my computer::
AMD FX 8350
Radeon HD 7870 Ghz edition
8gb RAM @1600mhz
1TB harddrive @7200rpm and 6GB/s
