Question / Help Logitech c920 won't appear , Other programs claim it is being used

I just recently purchased a webcam and now that i've began streaming i can't get my webcam to work , i've added it properly and OBS detects but it acts like it isn't on (doesn't light up ect). I've tried other programs like xsplit to see if it would at least work and it didn't said it is being used by another program , it works in skype so i thought maybe skype was somehow using it even though it wasn't running so i deleted skype but it still doesn't work.
 
post your log, but I haven't a clue why. maybe theres something in your log that tells what program.
log is under the help menu, copy the link and put it here.
 
Will due , just gotta let my pc boot up. If i open obs and run my webcam as soon as it comes up obs crashes idk why either :\ but if i let it settle down it's ok.

That's the bit i found on the webcam in the logs , i have no idea if it helps or not.

Logitech support would be the best to go to since xsplit is having the same issue with your cam. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for you but unless there is a logitech program that is using your cam, I dont know what else would. stop all programs in the taskbar and see if it works
