Question / Help Local recording video freezes but audio continues.

So I've been trying to use OBS to record games locally. But every time i do it records video for a second then the video freezes but the audio continues.

That is an incomplete log. Can you restart OBS, do a test recording for a few minutes, restart OBS, and post the last log?

Your settings are waaaay too high for that computer. You're going to need to downscale by 3.00 (Video settings > resolution downscale) and probably also change your x264 CPU preset to ultrafast (Advanced settings). You should also not bother trying to record at a lower CRF yet until you get things stable.

Thanks! It worked.
I'm kinda new to this stuff so I wasn't quite sure how it would work and what setting I needed for my PC, hopefully I will be getting a better one soon.
