Question / Help Local recording- popping/Static after I speak

This is only for local recording as my stream sounds perfectly fine!

I tried a bunch of different audio settings last night to get my mic audio to stop being so awful. At the end of every word I say the audio is either cut off or there is a pop. Is anybody aware of what this might be. My stream quality is great but when I'm using just my headset as a mic it's awful.

I use the Astro A40s with the mixamp. And a logitech C910 webcam. This is just for unboxings and youtube commentary type stuff but I just can't figure out the issue for the life of me.

You need to buy a dedicated microphone. The astro mixamp has noise canceling that makes your voice sound terrible.

It sounds fine on stream though and I've done normal audio recordings with it just fine. Not sure if it's an update or something has happened in that sense but the mic sucks for local recording now...

If anybody is having this problem I figured it out. You just need to enable the Mic on your OBS(the main window one) and disable the webcam microphone. Works great and I was able to do my unboxing with good audio.
