I'm trying to record with a game capture, but every time I try, all that shows up is black, but I can hear all the audio. I'm not sure whats wrong, I added the scenes and sources, but it always is black

What game are you trying to capture?

Also, your custom x264 setting is wrong...it should be crf=15 not cfr=15
 
Sorry I haven't been on the forums for a while - I am curious to know what sort of background applications you have running. When this error occurs, it almost always means that some external application (things such as virtuMVP and other graphics-related application) or a mod (such as sweetfx) is interfering with game capture. That error just means something outside is interfering it. Either that or your video drivers or your directx revision is waaay out of date

I just updated my drivers, and am running DirectX version 11.0. I only have steam and Tf2 along with OBS, and the file location open, but I still get the black screen with audio. Not sure what's wrong, and I still get the same error

It provides the latest updates for your DirectX version. You may have DX11, but not the latest version of it.
When I downloaded it, it said "DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivalent version of DirectX has been installed already. No installation is necessay"
And OBS still has the same problem, audio, but no visual.
