Question / Help Local game recording; no/low audio

I been playing around with different settings and capture methods, however, I am not having any luck capturing the audio from the game.

When recording MarvelHeroes there is zero game audio.
I tried recording Torchlight II and it was VERY low.
D3 worked the best but the audio was still low.

Audio from the desktop is fine, for example recording the desktop from youtube.

Anyone have any such experience?
What can I provide to help you help me? Screen shot of my settings?

well now i'm confused :(

I found and used this tool: https://obsproject.com/analyzer, which is FANTASTIC btw.

It recommened to turn Asus Xonar GX off, whatever that is. I turned it off and started recording and it worked! Mid recording to confirm, I turned it back on; still worked. Maybe the difference is the state of it when you launch OBS. I just don't want to have to check to see if my audio is working before each and everytime I record.
