I use 3 filters in Adobe Audition for live noise canceling (specific order in which they work is also important, for my results at least). it works very well. I was thinking of making a video-tutorial about it.
For reference - I use Corsair Vengeance 1400 and if you know how horrible the mic is by default, you can compare it to my voice from my stream (not perfect, but great improvement, I think):

I took the idea from
this video, but later added a couple more filters and tweaks from myself. Using ONLY this one filter will clear the sound a bit, but will also make it quieter. Also, using this software will throw another couple %'s load on your CPU.
