Question / Help Live Gamer HD & PS4 HDMI Audio Crackling

Hi. I apologise if there's an obvious solution for this that I haven't tried yet but I've read countless threads which haven't really had this same problem so I figured the best option was to come directly here myself and ask for help.

Recently I bought the live gamer HD and in all my streams so far I've had audio issues. I am streaming PS4 footage via HDMI with audio going over HDMI too. The PS4 is being routed through a splitter which goes to an Elgato HD60 that I use to record the raw footage at the same time (this raw footage doesn't have any audio issues).

What happens is that after a certain amount of the time the game audio only (so that coming to the LGHD) starts to get choppy and crackly, breaking up pretty badly. I do have a fix for this myself that seemed to work, which was output the audio to desktop and use waveout audio renderer, but I'm wondering if there's a more permanent solution that I'm not seeing which would mean I wouldn't have to output to desktop. This happens when using LGHD direct in OBS and via stream engine. I initially just restarted the stream to solve the issue but tonight I left it running and it seemed to be happening more when there was a lot of sound, then would die down a little bit at other times and 'right' itself.

A) This is an example from wednesday where at 18:50 there are a few small crackles in sound and at 19:40 it gets significantly worse - http://www.twitch.tv/broughy1322/b/611059401 - This was using LGHD as a direct source in OBS

B) Here is a second example from tonight where it seemed to have issues when there was more sound in general due to me not restarting the stream at any point - http://www.twitch.tv/broughy1322/b/612430141 - 47:50 is about the right place to start here and this was using LGHD via stream engine.

I'll also include the logs for both of these sessions as per letters above. Having looked at them myself it's easy to see the issue (literally thousands of "Audio timestamp for device 'xxxxx' was behind target timestamp by xx"). I'm just wondering how to solve it and what's causing it.

A) http://pastebin.com/1GV9fVVK - I was also having some mega frame drop issues on this stream but had that fixed by tonight's stream

B) http://pastebin.com/V1kdVNbs - I included the bit around 21:49:22 onwards since I suspect that's approximately when I was having the audio issues as mentioned above and something must have happened for it to skip straight to 21:52 for the next report

Thanks for any and all help. This is something that has been bugging me ever since I got the LGHD and I've tried numerous things but I've ran out of expertise. Obviously if you need any more info just let me know. Cheers!
