Question / Help Lip Sync

Hi guys

Only a minor issue but one that's bugging me. There's an ever so slight lip sync issue when streaming captured media. I've tried setting the recording device settings to listen to device as was suggested by a friend but no joy, I get a really bad echo.

I am capturing a live video feed from a Hangout and streaming that into YT Live but for some reason both for the locally captured video on my camera and the captured video I get a lip sync issue.

Should be an easy fix, you can just use "mic time offset" in audio settings (which can be either a positive or negative number, in milliseconds).

Alternatively, you can disable the mic channel in audio settings, and pipe your mic through the webcam source via the audio selector within, and then turn on "Use buffering". That will ensure a sync, though might end up delaying the webcam image and audio a slight bit.

Interesting...

I set the mic offset to -1000 just for giggles and it defaulted to -300.

It's closer but I still see about a 200 ms gap.

Being a perfectionist and all I'll work with it...

You need to increase "scene buffering time" in advanced if you need to set the negative offset higher. Always have "scene buffering time" at least 100 above your target negative value, for example, if you want to use -1000 for mic time offset, set scene buffering time to 1100
