Question / Help League FREEZES when I tab back into game after starting RECORD

Seems pretty low on the specs department, but not impossible to do recording / streaming with it. Try creating a shortcut to do the recording without leaving the game and see if you have the same issue.

In OBS go to settings --> Hotkeys. In the broadcast settings. I usually use a two button system to set up a hotkey, like alt + \ or anything along those lines. Just keys you usually wouldn't use together to ensure you don't accidentally stream or record when you do not want to.

Okay tried it, didn't work me recording usually works for like 1 second then boom freezes. I'd like to throw out there, i've recorded in the past with same comp and everything worked fine, i reset settings and stuff and it doesnt work

Ok, just looked through the log .... and you need to lower your settings, by a lot. First, downscale your image to 1280*720. Next, change the bitrate to 5,000. If you can successfully record with these settings, you can start toying with them to get the desired quality. 1920 x 1080 at 30,000 is a lot.

Alright that worked, but it is HELLA choppy, I'm just so confused, I've recorded before and play back was good quality and not choppy at all.
