Hey there.
First, my log: https://gist.github.com/721f9139dd81fbc1d727
And here's a picture of the problem I have, before I describe: http://imgur.com/eGUcCIL
So, I decided to update my 10.3.5 Blackmagic Video drivers to 10.4. If you recall, I had troubles setting the framerate in OBS before, properly. This is because the Blackmagic Device might not be properly configured.
While I'm not sure if that's the case, a new problem arose. I had previously kept deinterlacing on my Blackmagic cards in OBS. So, when I saw this.. http://imgur.com/3mMIfPL
I was shocked. I only saw the top half of my laptop resolution. I haven't found a fix for this yet.
I can't easily downgrade back to 10.3.5. The software downgrades, but not the drivers or device detection. So 10.4's "Media Express" show the correct video at 1080p29.97... but also shows the same issue when at 1080i59.94 http://imgur.com/s0eWHjN
Here's a review of everything the update to 10.4 did to me, BTW:
I don't know if Blackmagic has properly updated their device's behavior, or if they have a bug with how its software is inconsitently interpreting 1080p/1080i. I might guess the latter, since I can't use my Decklink.
I hope someone can help.

- I have a Decklink Mini Recorder card. Since the firmware update, it no longer shows up in my device list. Talk about grievous.
- On 10.3.5, I had working Decklink & garbled audio on my laptop HDMI in. OBS grabbed Intensity Pro's laptop images at "30fps". No interlacing problems. However, the Media Express software would show two copies of my full-screen interlaced one above the other.
- On 10.4.0, Decklink is done. Laptop Audio works great. OBS only grabs images at 29.97 setting, but interlaced as above. "Desktop Video Utility" shows it capturing 1080i59.94.
