Ok here go's!
This computer is strictly for streaming no gaming or anything else is done on it! Specs are as follows!

CPU: AMD FX8350
Ram 8GB
GPU is on board since no gaming is being done!
Upload: 5MB

Here is the issue. on my gaming pc i used to stream playing all games at 720p 60fps and still have a decent experience. So my question is why can't i achieve 720p 60fps on my streaming pc?

Game PC Specs:

CPU: i5 3570k
Ram: 16GB
GPU EVGA GTX 670 FTW

Here is my log any insight is much appreciated and i thank you in advance!

Your GPU is really slow, that is the cause of your late frames. OBS makes decent use of the GPU and still requires the ability to copy textures quickly back and forth.

Stream PC I believe still needs a decent video card to do work (from my understanding).

Code:
D3D10CreateDeviceAndSwapChain1: Failed
on ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics: 0x80004002.
Trying compatibility mode

I've seen issues with older video devices before, but I could be wrong...

i just found out that 4 of my 8 cores were parked or not being used going to run a few tests and see what happens!

and that would explain the encoder time being really high. post your solution here to help other AMD streamers btw.

still having the same issue going to try using a better gnu but i have seen computers use the integrated pus and do just fine i will post my findings in a bit!

I dont think integrated is the issue as long as it is "newer" technology. same goes for discrete GPUs

I am baffled to be honest! and forgot to mention I'm using a AVERMEDIA Live Gamer HD PCI Capture card no screen capture or game capture!

It doesn't matter. What dodgepong is saying is during the encoding process, the GPU is still used to do certain functions.

According to the profiler in the log, the GPU is still causing it to run pretty slow.

Not all integrated GPUs are created equal. just because some people get it to work with integrated GPUs does not mean it will work well with all integrated GPUs.

Well I'm done for the night going to grab a gpu at work tomorrow and test it out. Thanks for the help ill keep updating as i get further along!

I just want to say dodge pong was right on top of this one! As some integrated GPU chips may have the ability to stream some of them cant! I haveinstalled an old AMD Radeon HD 4850 and I am holding strong at 60fps. Just wanted to say thanks for everyones help and i really do appreciate it! I will post my my last log for anyone else using the AMD 8350 CPU!
