Hi,

Finding an issue trying to use monitor capture on my ASUS G750JW-BBI7N05 laptop (Windows 8, 64-bit). I've already set global settings to use my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M, and double-checked the settings in OBS to make sure that that NVIDIA card is selected as opposed to Intel Integrated Graphics. It doesn't capture anything, desktop or game - just a black screen.

Thanks in advance! I hope I included everything that was needed!

Hi, I do also have a laptop and I have encountered a similar issue in the sense that Monitor Capture just shows a black screen though i have managed to successfully capture content with" Game mode" which confuses me quite a lot. Besides, when trying to use "Window Capture" i can't seem to make my screen and the scene coincide like I end up with having 2/3 of my screen on the scene and it's as if the position of my window was completely off, I have tried draging it around but it just makes it even worse anyway kinda hard to describe but it's pretty messed up.

PS: Already did the Nvidia control panel thingy.
When I have tried try the Log analyzer i have gotten this message again and again "This does not appear to be a complete OBS log. Please make sure you include the entire file"

The steps in the laptop/black screen post are to get window and game capture working. Monitor capture generally requires the opposite, with OBS running on the integrated GPU, however this is unstable for some people. We recommend avoiding monitor capture and sticking to window/game capture if you're stuck on a laptop.
