Question / Help Laptop Capturing my desktop HELP!!!!

Ok hi everyone this is my first time posting someone on OBS forums i really need help here.....!?

I need help try to get my laptop to capture my desktops monitor to stream games how does one do this?
I have a beastly desktop but for some reason i just can get the stream to be smooth my internet is super fast too.
So yeah how does one get theyer laptop stream theyer desktops monitor????

You would need to use an external capture device (like an Elgato or an XCAPTURE-1) to receive the signal from your PC and pass it to your laptop.
