Hello,
I am having a similar problem to what other people seem to be posting about. I've read over the threads and followed steps, but getting no results.
I am running a brand new top of the line Alienware laptop with the graphics amplifier and GTX 980 Ti card. The amplifier replaces the laptop GPU completely with the desktop GPU that is installed in it. I have used Nvidia control panel to force everything to run on the GTX 980 ti GPU. I followed all the steps in previous post to do this, including running OBS as admin and making sure it is set to use the GTX 980 Ti. I really want to use OBS and not have to find a different software, but I also need to be able to stream. Any help would be great! Thank you.
PS. Xsplit works like a charm right off the bat, but I want to use OBS!
