Question / Help Lanczos Downscale Problem after moving to Win8

Hey everybody, I just ran into this problem after upgrading to an SSD and putting win8 on it, copying my old OBS settings across from my win7 install.

I only stream once a week or so when my friends and I are playing some D&D over skype, and thus I downscale to 720 from native 1080 so anybody that watches has a better chance of no lag.

After copying my old install settings and starting up my stream last week there was a strange bug. Basically downscaling with lanczos causes this: http://imgur.com/RW3cJHP (Should look like this, taken with bicubic downscale: http://imgur.com/nb4iZfu)

Some kind of strange zooming effect? Any other forms of downscale to any resolution work fine, but lanczos to any resolution causes that ^. I will just be using bicubic for now but if anybody has some idea of what the problem could be, that would be great. (log from test session attached, switching between lanczos resolutions and bicubic)

If I can provide any other info, please let me know. Thanks.

Try removing and re-adding your scene sources to make sure they're configured correctly. Something could have carried over from your old setup that doesn't match up properly with the new one.

Er, woa. I think the shader blobs might be responsible from your previous setup -- try deleting %appdata%\obs\shaderCache

I had the same problem after a OBS update. It drove me nuts for about a day, i reinstalled OBS, made new scenes everything. Deleting the appdata.....shadercache fixed it for me!

This was my exact problem after updating to the newest OBS version tonight. Thank you, thank you, thank you Ithelian for posting those screen shots, and Jim for the answer! I deleted the shadercache and now everything is back to normal. Maybe make this solution a sticky or something?
