Hey guys. When playing Rainbow Six Siege i always have more than 60 fps. Around 70-90. But when i stream it the video is really laggy , as if its 15fps. I checked the CPU usage when streaming and it seems ok. Its around 50-70 with it going up to 80 for a sec at times. On OBS my setting is 2500 video bitrate at x264, My base resolution is 1400x900 with it scaled to 1152x720 on the stream. Whats confusing me is that when i try to steam other games like Cs GO or LoL it works perfectly, the fps seems good, its just rainbow six that starts to lag real bad.
My specs are:
Graphics Card:: Nvidea Geforce GTX 970
Cpu: Core i5-2320 quadcore 3.00GHz
Motherboard: Intel DH61WW
RAM: 8 GB
i know my CPU and motherboard are kinda old but i still dont understand why some games stream better than others.
I have 8.5 mbps upload which is not bad i was told.
So what should i do to be able to stream Rainbow six with good fps. Do i need to get a better monitor? upgrade my CPU or motherboard? is my internet bad? or are my OBS settings not set up correctly?
