I've attempted all kinds of things to fix this:
Changing refresh rate to 120 instead of 144
Toggling V-Sync and Freesync settings
Driver updates & Windows setting changes
Power plan & hardware acceleration changes
high performance preferences in graphics settings
Still, unable to get smooth recordings.
All my recordings are choppy/laggy.
But, when recording the game there is no lag during gameplay it's perfectly smooth.
One strange note:
When I have both OBS + Game running...
And I change my refresh rate setting...
The lag goes away, but this is not a fix.
The lag comes back after some time
Or if I close either of the programs.
So, here are 2 log files.
One without making that refresh rate change.
One with making the change, which temporarily works
If anyone help me fix this problem I'll greatly appreciate it.
