Hello guys. I just recorded CS:GO,I'm not interessed about live stream, just recording videos for youtube. Ok,I have a full hd monitor, and I set the downscale in OBS setting to 720p and 60 fps. When I recording I have constantly about 80-160 FPS,but it's lagging a little bit, when I walk around the walls they are moving in pictures. Don't know why. And if I set downscale to None it's lagging verry bad. Why? Can it be because of my settings ? Who is the best settings for my pc?
Processor Intel core i5 2500k
Video card Sapphire HD 6970 2GB GDDR5 256 bits
2x4GB 1333 MHz of memory.
Asus P67 Pro 3 rev. B3 mother board.
Help me please !

Post a log file.

Chances are you need to change your preset to something like Super Fast or change your capture method.

I founded this thread a few minutes ago,and I make the settings exactly like he recommanded,and it's lagging at 1080p 60 fps,but it's ok at 720p 60 fps. Ok,another question,if I set 720p 60 fps and I render 1080p 60 fps will it work?

Probably not. You want your base resolution (generally speaking) to be your actual monitor/game resolution, and then use a downscale. But you may still be able to get 1080p60 to work (recording only). Do a 5 minute or longer recording of high action content at 1080p60 recording with your new settings, then post a new log file.

You did your CRF custom command wrong:
20:07:10: Using custom x264 settings: "15"

It should say "crf=15", not just "15".

Change your preset to "SuperFast". Change your Scene buffering time to 700.

And then if that doesn't work well enough, change your preset to "UltraFast".

I set the perset to SuperFast and then UltraFast. I don't see any difference between those two. But what it's important,it's lagging but not like before, now it's lagging just a little bit. But I want no lag. With another program it doesn't get laggy, but it takes a lot of space on my HDD. Something is missing. What can be ?

I dunno, people like to run CS:GO at crazy high framerates, and there's no such thing as a free lunch. Performance for OBS has to come from somewhere. Post a new log file from your latest attempts or we really don't have anything new to go on to advise you.

Ok..a question for you. What is better ? 1080p with 30 fps or with 60 fps ?
I've tried to record GTA5,and when I driving with some speed, some textures just dissapear, like roads, and buildings. But just for a few seconds. What I have to do about this?

Dude, something it's clearly wrong. Do you know the game Metin2 ? That one from 2004. It's lagging when I'm recordin 1080p.A game from 2004 it's lagging on a Radeon HD 6970 ? and 8GB of ram? Wut?

I'm really bad at divination. My skill is practically zero. What do you want me to do? Post a new log file from when you're playing that game, or else I have no advice to give you.

I will try tomorrow to fix that. If it won't work I will post a log file.
Btw, thank you a lot, I recording cs:go with no problems now. But in Gta V while I'm recording, textures disappear sometimes when I driving, for a few seconds.
