Question / Help Lagging when i'm recording , please help

Hello .. i want to record/ stream with OBS but I can't because it is lagging !

Can please anyone make me the settings for my PC , please !

PC specs : Intel Core i3 - 4150 CPU @ 3.50GHz

6144 MB Ram

NVIDIA GeForge GT 630 4046MB

make sure to post a log

your hardware is really low end so streaming is pretty much not going to happen with x264 and a decent quality while not having huge performance issues. with recording you could be able to run 720p30 with ultrafast preset etc...

i'd suggest using either qsv which should be quite decent on haswell cpus or nvenc (shadowplay) if your gpu supports it ... there are two different gt 630 one support it the other simply doesnt

What "Max Bitrate " and " Buffer Size" should I put ?

usually for recording if you try to achieve best quality you put bitrate 1000 (whatever you want) and buffer 0 (lets the encoder decide)
