Question / Help Lagging when i turn on the stream.

Hello Forum/OBS

I wanne start saying thx for nice problem i been using it many years without problem. I recently bought a new computer with windows 8(always had other windows) and it workin fine. My problem is when i play wow my ms is fine, but as soon i turn on my stream ms is going up from 26-30 to 200-280. I have no idea why it does that and its really annoying. I hope you have a solution for my problem. :)

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

Thx for the fast answer. The problem is fixed now. As you said your self game and stream were competing so i just turn abit down on my bitrate and now its working fine. :)
