Goodmorning,
I have a problem with lag.
I play command and conquer red alert 2 and it's lagging.
Hope u can help me with the best settings for this game.


I got a AMD eight core 3.6 Ghz
With 16 ram mem
64 bit Win 7
Gforce gtx 560 card
Ps i cant select gamecapture only monitorcaputure.

I did see some bitrate problem so i put this on 128 and max bitrate i putted on 3500 (19MB upload speed_

Hade 2 major issues and 2 "normal " issues
Solved 1 major and 1 normal
ok, so next time, just upload the logfile through the help menu and copy the link not the text.

1. dont use monitor capture with windows 7. I will show you an alternative way to do this. Remove the monitor capture

2. enable aero (dont check disable aero in the video tab of OBS) and use a windows aero enabled theme in windows. both are needed to enable aero properly.

3. set your base resolution in OBS to your monitor's resolution. in your case, 1920x1080. you are using 1600x900 right now which is not correct.

4. now set a downscale in the video tab to 1280x720. use bicubic filter

5. set fps to 30. no more, no less

6. bitrate and buffer should be 2500, or just don't check custom buffer.

7. Uncheck CFR

8. Now lets get into fixing your game capture. First, add a game capture to your scene and select fit to screen or whatever the option is. then point it to your game, press refresh if the game doesn't show up in the list after your start C&C.

8a. If game capture doesn't work when you press preview and have the game started, remove the game capture and try window capture and point it like you did the game capture. you might have to enable compatibility mode if still nothing, but try it without first. this method will require the game to be in a windowed (non full screen) mode.

8b. if that doesn't work, same as before, remove the window capture and readd a game capture, but this time, point the game capture to DWM.exe. this method only works in windows 7 and is an alternative way to monitor capture that doesn't lower performance.

How do i do this ?all other options didnt work
Did you fix everything else? because window capture as well as the DWM game capture will only work with aero enabled.
