Question / Help Lag When Streaming Minecraft

So I wanted to stream on Twitch but I didn't have anything to stream with so I used OBS. Everyone said it was awesome and so I used it. When I was streaming I noticed that the stream looked awesome it was just that there was in-game lag and I got like 1-4 FPS and it bugged me a LOT. I'm new to OBS so I am not a tech person...
Any advice on how to improve the FPS?

Post a log file from five minute or longer attempts at using OBS.

Change your preset to SuperFast from the default of VeryFast. If it still lags, try UltraFast.

You only recorded for 35 seconds, so I can't tell anything from that. Also, that log file is incomplete, is from 2.5 months ago, isn't on SuperFast preset, and doesn't appear to be a stream to Twitch, just a recording to your hard drive.

Ok first off I think I picked the wrong log and do you wan't me to record a video (about 10 Minutes) and log that? I will also change the preset to SuperFast.
Sorry about that.

14:18:11: Total frames encoded: 10497, total frames duplicated: 11 (0.10%)
14:18:11: Total frames rendered: 10511, number of late frames: 3 (0.03%) (it's okay for some frames to be late)

OBS is performing great. How's it in game now that you're on SuperFast? As far as OBS is concerned, you have no problems.

It is still laggy on my Minecraft when I stream. Right below is a screenshot of my FPS. The FPS is in the top right corner...

Optifine isn't actually helping things as much as you'd think it would be.
Also, your 2nd gen i5 probably is your limiting factor.

In the OBS Settings, under Advanced > General > Process Priority Class, set it lower, probably Idle, unless you raised it previously.
