Hello everybody, reccently I started to used OBS to record games for my YouTube channel with the local reccording option.
I used FRAPS and Action Mirrilis without any lags...
Here is my logs, I'm recording in 30fps (1680 by 1050 for the resolution) any ideas ? :(
Thanks ! :)

1080p60fps is by far too much for an i3 on veryfast preset. (thats what your log say)
  1. 05:58:52: Video Encoding: x264
  2. 05:58:52: fps: 60
  3. 05:58:52: width: 1920, height: 1080
  4. 05:58:52: preset: veryfast
  1. 05:59:39: Video Encoding: x264
  2. 05:59:39: fps: 60
  3. 05:59:39: width: 1920, height: 1080
  4. 05:59:39: preset: veryfast
  1. 06:06:13: Video Encoding: x264
  2. 06:06:13: fps: 60
  3. 06:06:13: width: 1280, height: 720
  4. 06:06:13: preset: veryfast
at this point you were using 720p60 still a bit much for an i3

  1. 06:09:55: Video Encoding: x264
  2. 06:09:55: fps: 30
  3. 06:09:55: width: 1680, height: 1050
  4. 06:09:55: preset: veryfast
is slightly less than 720p60 when it comes to cpu usage

i'd suggest using 720p30
ultrafast preset
bitrate 1000
buffer 0
custom command x264 crf=16
cbr=UNCHECKED
cfr=CHECKED
audio bitrate as high as possible

if your motherboard supports qsv then go ahead and use qsv to record. (only a few 1155mb support it though)
