Question / Help KOTOR Games

I'm having trouble getting KOTOR I to work with game capture and window capture, they just give me a black screen. The mouse is viewable, but nothing else is. It also does not work with full screen and monitor capture, only windowed mode seems to work. I'm not sure about KOTOR II as I haven't tried it and I can't get that one to be in windowed mode no matter what I do to the .ini file. Hopefully that's the right log if it's needed. My question is do the KOTOR games work in OBS or is it my computer? I have an ASUS Q500a laptop, but I can cast The Sims 3 no problems through game capture or window capture. However KOTOR I doesn't work through either of these and only works in windowed mode for monitor capture otherwise it shows a black screen with the mouse. I would prefer not to have to use monitor capture, but I don't see much of a choice.

If you're on an AMD laptop then game capture doesn't really work at all with AMD laptops right now. However, kotor games currently have issues with game capture anyway, and I still haven't had time to really investigate.

No my laptop is not an AMD. It's an Intel with HD 4000 graphics, not the greatest, but it can play the games I want to play just fine. It's a core i5 laptop.

Yes I did read that, but it didn't help, probably because it's not an Nvidia or AMD laptop. It's using Intel parts.

I'd probably have to see the computer directly somehow at this point. We don't have many users come around that only have an intel integrated adapter, so at this point I'm not entirely sure. Does kotor even have a windowed mode? If it does, then you can use window capture with "compatibility mode" instead, but if it doesn't that might be troublesome.

I tried Window capture with compatibility mode, it didn't work. It has windowed mode, but you have to go into the configuration files and mess with it to make it that way.
