Question / Help KiloBITS or KiloBYTES?

Sorry for asking a rather lame question like this, but I honestly can't tell. Does the OBS use kilobits or kilobytes as a measurement? And is that the same as the Estimator measurements? And while I'm at it, does Speedtest.net use megabits or bytes? I tried looking around for an answer but I honestly couldn't find anything solid. I think capitalization is supposed to be the difference, but even that seems inconsistent in places. Thanks in advance, since I'm sure someone out there knows.

Generally, connection speed is measured in bits per second, and file size is measured in bytes. The B should be uppercase for byte and lowercase for bit.

Kbps = Kilobits per second
KBps = Kilobytes per second
Mbps = Megabits per second
MBps = Megabytes per second

The settings estimator and OBS use Kbps. Speedtest uses Mbps. Your browser shows download speed in KBps and MBps.
