Question / Help Killing Floor - Audio Behind Video (Or perhaps the opposite)

It seems when i record Killing Floor, which i do with Monitor Capture and Window Mode, the audio comes before the video.
Though it's slight, but i am a bit sensitive so it's noticeable.

As the game itself shouldn't matter for Monitor Capture i thought perhaps the Capture itself was the problem, so i tried recording an easy 2D game just to see the sync, and there it was without issue.

So the only thing i can think of is that the encoding falls behind, but even that seems a bit skeptical as the audio is Always behind from what i can tell, and the log only says that some frames are skiped, and it's a small percentage meaning it shouldn't have any direct impact overall.

So as i am stuck with this, i thought it would be best to just ask for help.

I have uploaded the log, and as you can see i have "Sync Audio to Video" on, but that was just in the latest recording, and it didn't seem to matter, same for the Mic QPC (which is understandable as it only affects the Mic).

First thing I notice is that it appears to be a modded version of obs. Does it happen with a non-modded version of obs?

Oh right, the mod is simply me downloading the source and re-adding the YV24 support, that's it.
Or well i did change the AAC bitrate to be higher as it usually were around 128kbps even when it was set at 320.

Other than that, nothing as i don't even know what the other stuff is (No programming skills here;P).

I highly doubt it happens with a non-modded as this doesn't affect anything at all really, and the recordings are with YV12 leaving the only thing changed to be the quantizer setting in FAAC.

If you still want me to compare to the original version i can do that, but that being said, it only happens with Killing Floor (or perhaps other high CPU usage games with Monitor Capture?).

We don't support modded versions of OBS, so yes, you should determine if it happens with the regular version and if necessary troubleshoot with the regular version.

Alright, will do a recording with the ordinary OBS next time then, i hope the modifications are not the problem however, at least not the AAC modification as it's just a extremely simple change in command, but that being said, you never know.

Here is a normal capture log, as well as a clip showing the Delay.

I am actually very skeptical about it as said before, it may be it's simply lagging, it falls behind 1-2 frames at times, making the audio appear before the actual video is there.

It's very subtle, but if you watch the last shot, you will see that the audio comes a bit before the actual shot.
The same with the third shot at the start, it just feels off, the gun movements compared to the audio.

Okay i am sure there is some Audio Delay now, the latest recording was done at much worse settings, making the CPU Usage easier, and only 1 duplicated frame.

This should have removed any kind of lag occuring cause of usage.
But still the lag is there, and i think it's about 150ms(Negative).

Try this, you may need to play slowmotion to notice.

The click sound is Off ingame so ignore that, but listen when the mouse hover over it.
Try with 150ms(Positive) and it will be in sync.

Same with the Gunning afterwards, though that's much harder to perceive and probably sounds accurate even when it's a bit off.

I wish there was a better way to know the off sync however.
