I've been using OBS to record game footage for my YouTube channel for about half a year now. I mainly use it avoid having to overlay graphics in post (I have to get by on freeware and there doesn't seem to be much good post-production freeware out there). The vast majority of my videos have been done without any cuts, but I'm now looking at doing a few that would most certainly require at least a few. I did experiment a bit with Avidemux and figured out that you need to cut on keyframes (I-FRMs) to avoid corruption, but the interval between keyframes is often too long for making useful cuts. Is there a way to increase the number of keyframes within OBS to more than 1/sec? If not, is there maybe a way to reencode the video so that I'll get more keyframes (can you recommend a program too)?
