You have an ULV CPU in your laptop. What is your GPU?

What games have you gotten working? What games are crashing?

From what I see, the fault module has something to do with nVidia DirectX 10 drivers, but all current nVidia cards have DX11 support. You would not have been able to buy an ULV haswell-based laptop without a DX11 compatible GPU.

I originally used OBS for Final Fantasy XIV. But when I started using it for Dragonball Xenoverse, it refused to work with that error. My Graphics Card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 745M

Can you make sure that both games are forced to your nVidia GPU and that you are using your nVidia GPU in OBS?

And if you could install playclaw 5's trial from http://www.playclaw.com/download.php and run it and tell me what directX (or OpenGL) version it shows for those games when you launch them? If one is DX9 and one is DX11 for example, that is something else to go off of.

I know you posted your crashdump but could you please post your logfile as well? the one when it crashed. you can upload it from the help menu and copy the link here.

I downloaded Playclaw 5, but there is nothing that tells me which DirectX version or OpenGL the game is using. I uploaded the latest log from OBS though.
Code:
13:17:03: Nvidia optimus detected, second adapter selected, ignoring useless second adapter, I guess.
13:17:03: Loading up D3D10 on Intel(R) HD Graphics Family (Adapter 1)...
^I think OBS is getting confused on which card to use for capture.

I dont know about playclaw but it seems that you are using the nVidia to game and the intel to encode? try NVENC and let me know if that crashes as well. you might have to select adapter 2 in the video menu and make sure there is an exception to OBS in the nVidia Control Panel.
Read here for info in nVidia Control Panel setup.

Also, uninstall playclaw as multiple capture programs can interrupt with eachother.

I got it to work. The game won't capture when I have it in full screen. Also, I updated the drivers for Nvidia and that fixed the encoder initialization fail problem.

If you run playclaw and it hooks to the game, when the game launches, it should say on the bottom of your screen what the directX version is, or if it's OpenGL.
