Question / Help Just updated to windows 8.1, OBS capture is broken.

As of today 7/12, I updated my computer from windows 8 to its newest version 8.1. This caused my OBS to not function as it should on ANY game. It makes the window where games are meant to appear a solid black box. Tested games were- Battlefield 3, Minecraft, and FIFA 14. None work, and all are effected in the same way. Black screened. So, I attempted to restore my OBS by uninstalling and reinstalling. Now I am unable to install OBS back at all. An error message occurs, which I believe may be the source of the problem.

Restart your computer and then try again with the installation.

Thanks! It worked. I guess that reset my nvidia settings in the update. I appreciate the help. Sorry for wasting your time. haha. I was wondering why my games were running so poorly. Anyway, thanks again. Problem solved.
