Question / Help Java Black Flicker

[FatePGN]

So I've had this issue playing a java based game called Wakfu.

I can only capture it in Game Capture mode (Window capture results in only seeing the games border, but the game itself is a black screen).

In Game Capture mode, the game will constantly flicker black when streaming.

The odd thing is, no other streaming app has this issue. Xsplit doesnt, Evolve doesnt, and I can't figure out whats wrong.

It should be noted that I'm using a laptop with an nvidia card and intel integrated gpu. I've set it so that absolutely everything uses the nvidia card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I tried that as well but it didn't help.

I should add that I run this game through Steam, although the non-steam version gives the same issue.

try window capture with compatibility mode enabled. this issue has something to do with the switchable graphics.

did you set OBS to use the nvidia card as well?
