Hello folks... Does anyone know anything about JACK Audio Connection Kit?
I am trying to route the output (via USB) of a Digitech RP250 Guitar effects pedal and the output of a Tascam US-600 (via USB) Audio interface into Open Broadcaster while capturing video with a USB cam... I have only been able to use one or the other audio source but not both.. Also, I would like to be able to play either an audio or audio/video file as an additional and simultaneous audio err.. "device" output added to the mix.. in other words, I would like to jam with myself.

OBS does not support JACK, but you can use something like VAC or VB-Audio for this.

ok... I have installed the 64 bit version of VB-audio according to the instructions and set CABLE Input as the recording device (I also tried setting as playback device)...... And then selected it as the device within OBS, but I still record no sound in videos... hmmmm....

This is impossible. Why the hell is it so f@#%*#$ difficult to record multiple sound sources simultaneously? Couldn't someone program a plugin that was just a mixer style window with volume slides for each device? I have been trying to make this work for 2 years now with very little luck. VB-audio doesn't work. JACK doesn't work. No ones instructions are clear or detailed... yay... Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make this work? Is there some other broadcasting software that will do it?

OK... This is seriously frustrating... I installed directshow audio source just fine and it shows up like it's supposed to but I still can not use the (USB) RP250 guitar effects pedal and the (USB) tascam US-600 Mic interface simultaneously, Forget about broadcasting an audio or AV file along with it... WTF?

Would one of you folks mind Video chatting with me or something, to help me work through this one? I sure would appreciate it if you could.
