Question / Help I've tried pretty much everything and I still can't get good OBS audio Headset to work better

I need some help. I have literally tried everything at this point. YouTube videos and messing around but I can't get OBS audio with my headset to work properly. It's echoey, it sometimes picks up my desktop audio, and sometimes it cuts out altogether. I tried doing my own research but the only audio device I seem to have is Realtek High Definition Audio. Even when I plug in headphones or my headset. I'd really appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

After doing further research & testing on my end... I may have potentially fixed the problem myself. But I'd need someone help me determine that with a test stream. I'll ask my own friends since I'm literally being ignored on here.

1) Most audio issues are upstream of OBS
2) You posted here *just last night*

My apologies then. Can I please receive assistance with this then? Even though I got it to sound better I'm still getting an echo sometimes in my stream even with audio filters and mic monitoring off

That is basically my set up and I'm still getting echoing. Unless the method required is the third party software which is not my setup

There's not enough specific information in "this is basically my setup" given that the document I linked has multiple scenarios and a lot of detail.

Do you know which of the possible causes listed is producing your echo? Is it Windows mic monitoring, or OBS input monitoring, or duplicate devices, or what?
