I'm sure this information is somewhere else on the forums, but I wanted to write out my exact scenario on the off chance I require a unique.
So after upgrading to Windows 10 I noticed the first video I recorded (Recording a program that's rather low on the graphics called Spellweaver) experienced lagging, skipped frames, and high encoding. I tried a number of things I found on these forums and they seemed to help, but one thing would affect something else and after trying a number of things, the only thing I found that worked was changing the x264 CPU Preset to "Superfast"
Everything looked perfect but then I found myself uploading a video to YouTube and found a video that was 50 minutes long took well over 6 hours to upload when before it used to take less than 40 minutes. After a little digging, I believe changing the Preset caused the bitrate skyrocket beyond YouTube's requirements.
I have no log to include because OBS itself is working fine, I just need some help finding the right settings for my needs and seeing as I have very little knowledge/experience in this area.
Basically, all I'm looking for is if someone else has been having this issue and found an effective and simple solution to this issue.
