So I set up OBS on my PC and it ran fine (running an AMD GPU and went nice and smooth) - trying to set it up on my laptop and I'm running into an issue w/ a black screen when doing monitor capture.

I ran through the Twitch guide for setting up OBS and testing Window Capture works fine but trying to test Monitor Capture gets me a black screen while previewing. I went ahead and followed this guide and tried it again to no avail. For the record, my specs are as follows:

Summary
Operating System
Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i3/i5/i7 4xxx @ 2.40GHz (Intel Core i7 4700 to be specific)
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. N550JK (SOCKET 0)
Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor (1920x1080@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4600 (ASUStek Computer Inc)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M (ASUStek Computer Inc)
Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000LM024 HN-M101MBB (SATA)

My log file is here as well, I'm not entirely sure what the issue is, and I'm new to streaming in general so any help would be appreciated!

switchable graphics doesn't work well with monitor capture. its an issue that cant really be fixed in a sense because of the way switchable graphics works. that guide is for window or game capture.

Dang, ah well, guess I'll just stick with window capture on my laptop. Thanks!
