Question / Help Issue with FPS in-game/ stream

Hey

I spent about 4 hours last night adjusting settings to attempt to get my stream quality decent.

I use to stream on an older computer, lower specs, which baffles me as to now my new improved computer can't handle it.

Specs:

i7-4800MQ @ 2.40ghz
8gb RAM
Nvidia Geforce 780 GTX

Internet Speed (speedtest) :
115mb d 55mb u

Adjusting in game settings doesn't help, and I highly doubt it's a computer spec issue.

Let me know what you need.

try to downscale also try it without the opencl support you shouldnt have any problem streaming 720@30 not at all your laptop should actually even be able to handle 1080@30 without a problem also make sure obs uses your gpu not your igpu

Looking at how this is a laptop there is a HUGE possibility its processing power gets throttled down due to overheating/something-else. Try turning off stuff like speedstep/thermal monitor/etc in the bios and try again.
