Hello,

I'm having an issue while livestreaming.

Soon i want to start with livestreaming, however i'm having some sound problems.

Setup:

Console: PS3/PS4
Capturecard: Elgato capturecard(ps3) / Elgato HD60 (ps4)
Speech capture: Skype / Teamspeak.

Problem:

I'm forced to mute my tv when i livestream else my mic will pickup the sound from the tv + caputure card = echo....so i'm unable to enjoy the game myself without sound.
I'm using a headset for my pc in order to hear my friends and talk to them on Skype / Teamspeak. At first i was thinking i should use an headset for my playstion and a seperate mic for my pc to talk with my friends. However then i'm not able to hear them since i already have a headset for my ps3.

IS there a way to hear my friends through pc + gamesound from tv at the same time through 1 headset? If so i'd like some help on this because i don't seem to be able to figure it out myself.

Thanks in advance!

Mixer. Simple as that :) if you can get your hands on a cheap mixer with usb interface you can grab the audio from both pc and playstation and your mic to your mixer, hook your headphones to your mixer, use mixer codec as a mic in obs and disable desktop audio in obs only negative here is that i think you would hear yourself also.

The elgato does not have an audio out passthrough as far as i know. However if you have a sound card with optical in you can output the ps3/ps4 audio via hdmi and optical audio simultaniously.
This way you could disable desktop audio in OBS, set the capture card audio to "output to stream only" and listen to the console audio at the same time. If you want you buddies on ts on stream too you'd have to use some kind of virtual audio cable.
